NaBloPoMo Wrap Up

I can’t believe it’s been a month already since I started this blog! So much as happened in the past month and I’m so glad I got to participate in NaBloPoMo as I way of kick starting my blog. I have already made some great friends and begun many new creative adventures as a result of this blog.

I thought a great way to wrap up NaBloPoMo was to review what has happened over the last month, so here we go:

At the beginning of the month I shared a sneak peak into my craft ideas, and over the month I shared more of the craft projects I had completed.

During the month the Mentor’s Channel was also hosting a 21 days of gratitude meditation series. Through this I questioned what my life purpose was, and shared things I was thankful for.

My series of posts on Living with Chronic Pain and Illness focussed on special events, managing personal expectations, maintaining relationships, resting, a healthy diet for me, and exercising. I even shared one of my favourite breakfast/dessert recipes and discussed issues about  driving.

Pushing myself past my boundaries seemed to be a theme of the month as I learnt to pace myself and define my boundaries clearly. This led to me writing about ways to reduce stress and sharing TED Talks that will cheer you up.

As I attempted to describe my symptoms clearly, creative writing became an outlet with Foggy Frog and Friends appearing in stories and poems. I also introduced you to my talismans/support crew against Foggy Frog and Friends.

E and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary (so I shared some details from our wedding) we had a friends wedding, E’s dad’s 60th, and E participated in a ride for charity.

I was really blessed and overwhelmed at the support this community showed me over the past month. I recieved a Unique Leaves Award, an Inner Peace Award, THREE Dragon’s Loyalty Awards, and TWO Blog of the Year 2013 Awards! I really didn’t expect anything like this when I’m just beginning.

Facebook and Twitter accounts were set up to be able to get to know you better and connect with more people.

WOW, that’s a lot in one month!!! Given how busy this month was, it’s not surprising there were times when I was not at home and collapsed on the couch!

I’d like to thank each and every one of you who read and commented on my posts. Your support has definitely mean a lot to me. Thank you!

Did you participate in NaBloPoMo? If so, how did you go?
